We are currently seeking full & part-time draftsmen interested in working remotely.
You must meet the following criteria…
- Have direct experience with casework, millwork, retail fixture drawings or closely related drafting experience
- Have & maintain your own workspace and software (AutoCAD, Excel, Bluebeam)
- Must not be employed by any of our current clients
- Complete our pre-hire screening (AutoCAD skills test, reference check)
Above all, hands-on experience with fabrication in cabinetry, woodworking, casework, millwork or any field where custom building is involved is highly valued here.
In our position we have so many different customers, our draftsmen must be very flexible. It’s different than drafting in the same shop year after year. No style of drafting or cabinet shop drawings are the same. No dimension style, no layout, no construction details … nothing is ever the same. Every draftsman must be aware of the specific CAD standards for any given project and also work with different standards among several clients.
We ask anyone interested in working with us to take a skills test. In this test you will take an existing CAD file and manipulate it to create a completed shop drawing. Contact us through this website and I will send you the files needed along with a video where you will have the opportunity to watch how I personally approached the exact same test.
